“A funny poignant and realistic look at how redevelopment affects individuals and communities”
Minto Messenger Review

“June Hickey is brilliant in her debut performance as Sarah Way and Rosie Dennis was thoroughly convincing and took the audience on a rollercoaster journey of emotion”
Minto Mouthpiece

“Do not miss the opportunity for this intimate theatre experience – it will leave you asking questions”
Working Together in Minto Review

Driven to New Pastures tells a universal story about suburban redevelopment, the importance of neighbours and the significance of home.

It is an intimate show that is performed in an old church (St James Anglican Church) that was built in 1897. The church was originally located in Ingleburn and was moved - brick by brick - to Minto in 1918.

Rosie's key collaborator on this project is local Minto resident June Hickey. June hasn't performed since a primary school play in Bathurst. She has lived in Minto for more than 32 years and knows a lot of the locals because she delivered the junk mail for 15 years.
