The second in a series of making a public performance during a 2-week research and development period. Over a two-week period I will be conducting field research about the comfort to be found with strangers. I am spending about 3-hours a day on the street walking and talking with people - primarily I am interested in what they love about their local neighbourhood and what draws them out of the house onto the main street. This final work will be part performance-lecture/part working process. I plan to perform my days findings each evening at 6pm to an audience in the foyer of CarriageWorks. Each day the performance-lecture will grow by 3-minutes in length building towards a half hour show on the Friday night. Downtown is part of Performance Space's You Are Here season at CarriageWorks.
