The first in a series of making a public performance during a 2-week research and development period.
During this 2-week residency I will research, photograph, record and write about public declarations of love. These declarations may come in the form of desperate scrawls on the wall, facebook break-up announcements, talkback radio marriage proposals, sky writing propositions to the wedding spread in the Sunday paper.
I'm interested in what motivates people to declare their heart-wrenching, heart-felt, heart-breaking, heart-warming love for another person in the public domain.
At the end of the 2-weeks she will present a 40-minute performance sharing some of the conversations, declarations and interactions about love in public places/spaces.
